    Description

    I am offering for sale a 19th Century Sterling Silver Snuff Box commemorating the English victory in the 1352 Battle of Mauron during the 100 Years War.  The date of the 1352 Battle appears on the bottom of the lid under the soldiers feet.  There and numerous hallmarks on the top and the bottom which indicates it was made in Chester, England.  It is in excellent condition with age appropriate wear and patina.  It measures 2" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" high.
