HEISEY "MOONGLO" CUT CRYSTAL
1 QT COCKTAIL SHAKER
Available for purchase is a collectible etched cocktail shaker made by the A. H. Heisey Glass Company in Newark, Ohio.  The wheel cut pattern was called "Moonglo" (Cut #980), made from 1942 through 1956.  The design was cut into a "Cobel" cocktail shaker, originally patented by Heisey designer Carl Cobel in 1934.
The cocktail shaker stands about 11 3/4" tall to the top of the stopper (9 5/8" tall with stopper and strainer removed).  The body of the shaker is approximately 3 1/2" wide.  It has a listed capacity of 32 ounces (1 quart).  The 2-piece top consists of a strainer with pouring spot and a stopper.
I purchased this cocktail shaker at a recent estate sale, along with several others I'll be listing separately (see my other auctions).
It's unmarked but guaranteed to be an original Heisey item.  Please feel free to check my positive feedback and buy with confidence from a trusted seller.
Condition of this Heisey Moonglow cocktail shaker is GOOD.  It's primary condition issue is some noticeable spotting and residue in the bottom and along one side that I was unable to remove.  I also see a very small flake on the stopper and strainer, but no other chips, cracks, or fleabites.  It's not perfect, but this elegant cocktail shaker displays well and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.  Please take a close look at the many photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself.  I'm confident you'll be very pleased with this purchase.
