    Description

    Yellow half mask with feather beard, parallel lines above beard; wig of red hair with maiden's whorls. Woman's dress, maiden's shawl and white boots. Carries a rasp musical instrument. This is the most common katsina maiden. She accompanies the Hemis katsina as well as many others. Earl and Kennard, 1938
