    Now available with a larger dome for armored hands, this shield boss is ideal for the re-enactor crafting his own wooden shield.
    The 18 gauge stainless steel bosses are spun and then polished to remove the spinning marks before being pre-drilled for attachment to the shield.
    Boss inner diameter 6 5/8" x 3 7/8" deep, outer diameter 9 1/4" Pre-drilled for attachment.
    Approximately half the weight (11 ounces) of the 14 G mild steel version, slightly larger, and the 18G stainless is supposed to be as strong as the 14G mild steel. Slightly more expensive.
