This is a Vintage 21" x 16" Red Wire Store Wall Display Rack for Discwasher Vinyl Record Cleaning System.
This rack is a store display that held packages of Discwasher Record Cleaning System for vinyl records.  I learned online from the yoursoundmatters site that the Discwasher record cleaning product was invented by Dr. Bruce Maier, PhD in Columbia, Missouri. The article stated that he was "an avid audiophile and a professor of microbiology at the University of Missouri". The article states that the product was created in 1972 and patented in 1974.
From what I could gleam from the article, the system consisted of his patented cleaning liquid formulation and "unidirectional fiber pads".
We purchased this rack from an estate about 15 years ago or so and this is the first time we have offered it for sale.
This very sturdy red painted display is made from heavy gauge 1/8" steel wire, with white on red steel plate advertising . The height is 21 1/4" and the width is 16 1/2".  The overall outside depth of the two shelves is 5 1/2" and the usable height for the bottom shelf is just under 8".
The spiral staircase motif provides 11 "steps" where jewelry or other merchandise can be nicely displayed.  Necklaces, chains, and similar items can also be attached to the spiral railing.
This rack would be a great piece of wall decor to accompany the display of vintage vinyl album collection, or simply a nice vintage piece for general display or use.  If you are interested in further details of the record cleaning product or its inventor, you may wish to read further regarding the information referenced above.
Condition
There are some fairly minor scratches and paint loss on the white lettering.  Review the photos and make your own assessment in that regard.  The display stand is otherwise in excellent condition.
